BISP Education Scholarships
Unlike Income Support Program
Benazir Income Support Program (BISP) is a social security program of the Government of Pakistan that provides financial assistance to deserving families. The program also includes an education stipend scheme that provides support to school-going children of deserving families.
Bisp Eligibility Criteria
* Beneficiary should be eligible for BISP.
* Child must be registered in school.
* Student should be between 5 to 15 years of age.
* Only two students in a family are eligible for the scheme.
BISP Student Stipend Amount
* Primary level: Rs.750 per student per year
* Elementary Level: Rs.1000 per student per year
* Middle level: Rs.1250 per student per year
* Secondary Level: Rs.1500 per student per year
How ​​to Apply
* Applications can be obtained from BISP website or nearest BISP office.
* Filled applications should be submitted with necessary documents.
* Application details will be verified with concerned school authorities.
Required Documents
* Beneficiary’s BISP card
* Child’s birth/age certificate
* Receipt of school fees
* Child’s school registration certificate
BISP Payment Method
* The scholarship amount will be transferred to the beneficiary’s BISP bank account.
Other Important Information
* Scholarships will be awarded for one academic year only.
* If the student leaves school during the academic year, he/she will not be eligible to receive the stipend.
* BISP scholarship cannot be availed in parallel with other educational scholarship schemes of Govt.
* The scheme is dependent on government funding. If funds are not available, the scheme may be discontinued.
